Ik kende je site nog niet, werd erop attent gemaakt door Michael Simon. Hij stuurde mij foto`s uit 1998, met Malinese gastmusici in Bimhuis. Ik was blij verrast. De tijd is sinds toen voorbij gevlogen. We zijn thans net bezig met in kaart brengen van bijna 45 jaar Frafrasound. Er is een waanzinnig archief van artefacten, artikelen, opnamen, video`s en foto`s. De band heeft recent een nieuwe CD album uitgebracht, we hopen weer vaker te gaan optreden. Zou je mij svp de foto`s kunnen sturen uit 1998, die niet op de site staan? Hoop dat we elkaar ergens tegen komen.

Reggie (and me) do not have 99% of memories of so many concerts he did (Especially Jeanne, Alice Coltrane from CA, and Abbey Lincoln from Japan), but especially with his Ensemble and Jeanne whom he loved so much (That was the biggest loss for him, and then Joh Purcell got ill…. and then he didn’t have any more people who ‘get his’ approach ‘his way’).

Please, yes. Reggie’s Birthday is coming on 6/26! Perhaps you can surprise him!
